Air’s Translation Project Moves Forward!
Hello, everyone. We have recently had a translator join our team to help with the translation of Air. The translation of Air has resumed, and we are going to make an effort to start editing and proofreading the English translations in unison with the recently resumed translation. If anyone is curious, we are at about 53% complete with the translation thus far. Wish us luck, and thank you for your patience.
Kanon PSP Beta Patch Revision 30
Lunchbox has released a beta patch for Kanon PSP. He said he wants to test how the patch reacts with different custom firmwares and different PSP models.
Here is a link to the patch on Megaupload: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WG6YSBUE. I'm not hosting the patch at the moment, since it's not a good time for me to test my server's bandwidth. If you are unsure if you downloaded the correct patch, then just make sure the MD5 checksum of the patch that you downloaded is equal to 87528e2c67ffa4e728b2a3982fdb164d.
Also, here is an installation video if you need help installing the patch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbiJDM7xyic
Remember, this is a beta, which means it is not indicative of the quality of a complete, final patch.
Video Update for Kanon PSP
Lunchbox has been hard at work on translating the PSP version of Kanon into English. Here's a video update of his progress so far.
Kanon PSP Side Project
Lunchbox has started working on translating the PSP version of Kanon. There will be more information coming later. Here is a quick little video he made as proof that he has started:
PS2 Voices Confirmed
I have figured out how to extract the voices from the PS2 game disc. This means that if you buy the PS2 version of Air, then you will be able to use that to get the voices extracted when we release the first version of our patch. I plan on making an installation wizard, so that the wizard takes care of installing the English patch and extracting the voices from the PS2 game disc. This means that you won't have to fiddle around with directories and file overwriting.
Thanks!
Forum Rules and Small Air FAQ
Alright I posted the forum rules. They should appear at the top of whichever part of the forum you go into. Please make sure you follow the rules; I don't want to run into any trouble. Also, I made a really small Air FAQ. Since the project isn't done there is not much to answer, but if you feel like I missed a question that you think should of been answered then let me know.
New Features Are Up
I have a basic shell of the forums setup. I still need to add the forum rules and a FAQ for our Air translation project. Also, I updated the FAQ on the main page with some basic questions and answers. If you think I may have missed something, then you can go to the contact page because I updated it with the website's email address.
More Robust Website Coming Later Today
Later today I am going to add a lot more information to the site. I am also going to try and add some forums.
